Lake heating, no drilling required
The principle behind lake heating is to make use of the energy stored at the bottom of lakes. A collector hose is placed on the bottom of a watercourse. Circulating liquid in the collector hose absorbs the heat, which is transferred to a building by the shore. Lake heating reduces energy consumption by up to 80%.

COP is a measure of the lake heat pump’s efficiency – how much you save. From 1 kWh of electricity you obtain 4.6 kWh of heat energy, i.e. a heat factor (COP) of no less than 4.6. This high efficiency level means that you can save up to 80%!
