Ground heat / geothermal heat – no drilling, lower installation cost.
There are thermal assets beneath our feet. The surface of the ground stores energy from the sun in the form of geothermal heat. Geothermal heat is produced by burying a collector hose measuring 200-500 metres in coils at a depth that is free of frost. Circulating liquid in the hose absorbs the heat from the ground and transfers it to the heat pump. A ground source heat pump processes and distributes the geothermal heat, reducing energy consumption by up to 80%.
Ground heat / geothermal heat, save up to 80%.
COP is a measure of the ground heat pump’s efficiency – how much you save. From 1 kWh of electricity you obtain 4.6 kWh of heat energy, i.e. a heat factor (COP) of no less than 4.6. This high efficiency level means that you can save up to 80%!
More even heating offers more comfort
At CTC we’ve chosen our own technology that provides much more even heating without the temperature fluctuating up and down. Radiators and floors always maintain a precise temperature
- No drilling, lower installation cost.
- Relatively stable heat source.
- Can provide comfort cooling.
- Easily combined with solar heating.
